Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program gives families the ability to direct their child’s education funding to the learning environment that fits them best. Eligible families can receive up to $8,000 in education funding.
ESA funds may be applied to a wide range of educational expenses, such as private school tuition, curriculum materials, instructional supplies, tutoring, and more. As an approved ESA tutoring provider, Your Teacher Tutors specializes in helping ESA families maximize their account with high-quality tutors, flexible schedules, and tailored academic support.
Arizona’s ESA program allows you to pay for:
Tutoring services (individual or small-group), from credentialed providers.
Educational curriculum and supplementary materials.
Online programs or classes.
Standardized testing fees (SAT, ACT, etc.) and grade-level assessments.
ClassWallet and account management fees.

YTT is honored to receive the NSSA Tutoring Program Design Badge from the National Student Support Accelerator at Stanford University. This designation is granted only after a comprehensive, evidence-based review that evaluates alignment with established Tutoring Quality Standards.
To learn more about the rigorous review process, visit the NSSA Badge FAQ and official webpage.
All K–12 students in Arizona are eligible to receive an ESA, along with pre-K students with disabilities.
Note: You cannot receive ESA funds and a state tuition organization (STO) scholarship at the same time.
Funds are disbursed four times a year into your ClassWallet account. You can pay providers directly through ClassWallet, or submit receipts for reimbursement.
Your Teacher Tutors handles that process. We match you with a tutor who is familiar with ESA billing and has experience working with families like yours.
Unused ESA funds remain in your ClassWallet for use on future approved expenses. (Check the ADE ESA Parent Handbook for specific terms.)
It’s administered by the Arizona Department of Education. If you have questions, you can call their ESA Help Desk at (602) 364-1969.
